The stable block at Studley Royal was converted into a residence and these
automatic gates provide a fitting entrance to the main courtyard from where this
picture was taken.
The gates are completely traditionally made using classic techniques such
as fire-welding, hand-forgework, riveting, mortise and tenon joints, repousse
leafwork and collars.
Estate Gates in Leeds
These automatic gates complete with an intercom system were commissioned
by a private customer to this exclusive design. The hand-forged leaves
are gilded to add that special touch.
An Estate in Eire
This gate which has a fitted lock is between the rear gardens and an
extensive riverside area. The design is by Don Barker and all the scrollwork has
been hand-wrought with additional repousse leafwork.
The front drive gates were also designed by Don Barker and
were hand forged.
Estate Field Gates
These gates replace the original field gates which were taken down during
World War Two.
Side Entrance Gate
The gate leads to the cellars and servants' quarters and prevents
intruder access.
